A catch-all functionality that is activated for a given mailbox will allow you to receive emails that are sent to email addresses that do not actually exist. Otherwise put, if you disable an email address and someone still sends an email message to it, or to any misspelled email address under the very same domain, you will get the email in the catch-all mailbox. Using this feature means that you won’t miss an email for any reason whatsoever, which could be crucial if you are running a business, for instance. Since you may begin receiving spam email messages, you can combine the catch-all functionality with email filters in order to receive only authentic email messages in your inbox. Just one single mailbox per domain can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be enabled for a catch-all mailbox.

Catch-all Emails in Website Hosting

You’ll be able to create a catch-all email mailbox without any difficulty in case you’ve got a website hosting account with our company. The Email Manager in our custom-built Hepsia Control Panel is feature-rich, yet stunningly simple to work with, and it will allow you to activate different features, including the catch-all one, with just several clicks. All the mailboxes that you have created will be shown alphabetically in this section and on the right side of each one of them you will see a tiny "Catch-all" logo. Clicking it once will enable the feature, clicking on it twice will deactivate it. Since you can have just one such catch-all mailbox per domain, our system will notify you if you’ve already got another mailbox with this feature activated or if you’ve got activated email forwarding.

Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Hosting

You will be able to configure a catch-all email address with no more than one click in case you have a Linux semi-dedicated service with us and your email messages are handled by our cloud hosting platform. All the email addresses that you set up using any domain hosted in the semi-dedicated hosting account will be enumerated in the Hepsia Control Panel’s Email Manager section. Each of them will have a small-size "Catch-all" icon on its right-hand side, so all it will take to activate this feature will be to click on that icon. In the same manner you will be able to disable the feature, if you don’t need it anymore. Our system will inform you in case you are attempting to enable a second catch-all address for a given domain or in case there is enabled email forwarding, but it’ll never deactivate or change any feature automatically and without your approval.
